About the farmer…
Jerry Mowery is a second-generation farmer. His father started raising cattle and later transitioned to raising chickens. One of the lessons Jerry has learned from his father and his time farming is to expect the unexpected and that every day on the farm is different. Jerry’s favorite thing to do on the farm is work in the garden during the summer. He’s proud to partner with Farmer Focus as it allows him more opportunities to grow his farming operation. The focus on raising chickens in a humane and sustainable way really resonates with him, he values treating the animals with care and being able to live off what he produces. If he could let consumers know one thing it would be that the chicken they are producing was raised in a healthy way that leads to a great product for them to eat and give to their families, it’s the real deal.
