About the farmer…
Scott and Marsha Mathias, with their daughter Autumn and dogs
Beans and Maisie May, manage Golden Acres Farm. Scott, a fifth-generation
farmer, learned from his dad Glenn. They value knowing exactly what they feed
their chickens, ensuring quality livestock for consumers. Besides poultry, they
also grow corn, hay, and raise cattle. Scott enjoys the satisfaction of raising
good quality livestock and the connection to the land that farming provides.
Their commitment to sustainable practices and animal welfare is evident in all
they do.
