About the farmer…
The early quiet morning on the farm is Steven Michael’s favorite time of the day. As a fifth-generation farmer, his family has been raising chickens for over 50 years. Over that time, he has seen and learned a lot. He likes partnering with Farmer Focus as it allows him to implement the things he has learned from his father to raise chicken he’s proud of. Using sustainable farming practices including rotating crops and no till planting, he is caring for a farm that he can pass on to his children. Steven hopes to see one of his kids run the farm like he saw his father and grandfather do.
